Dr. Anisha Advani Jangi is a fellowship trained cataract surgeon and cornea specialist.

Dr. Jangi did her undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a dual degree with a B.S. in Economics at the Wharton School of Business and a B.A. at the College of Arts & Sciences. She then went to medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City.  Dr Jangi then pursued her ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, which was the first speciality hospital in the United States, established in 1820. At NYEEI, residents ran a 24 hour eye emergency room, were trained to handle all types of surgical and medical ophthalmic conditions and were part of one of the busiest ophthalmology programs in the Northeast. Dr. Jangi then remained at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary to further refine her skills and completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery.  Dr. Jangi is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and specializes in small incision, no stitch cataract surgery, including Femtosecond Laser cataract  surgery and premium lens implantation.  She is available for consultation in the Danbury and New Milford offices.
